This week was a very big and emotional week for us. The AEP hearing test confirmed what we had quietly suspected over the past weeks: two of our puppies are deaf.

At the same time, ten little puppies were able to celebrate the joy of being able to hear with both ears. It shows that no matter how carefully you plan or how thorough you are with health screenings, sometimes mother nature has her own plans. This news hits us especially hard because this is our very first litter – but it’s something that can happen to any breeder at any time.

What makes it even more emotional is that these two little boys had a very difficult first week of life. If we hadn’t fought for them and given them every chance, they might not have had the opportunity they have now: to lead a full, rich, and joyful life. Seeing them today – strong, happy, and full of curiosity – fills us with endless gratitude and pride.

We are now looking for two very special families who are ready to open their hearts, homes, and lives to one of these extraordinary puppies. They will not walk this path alone. They will receive full support from us, as well as guidance and help from experienced experts within the Dalmatian community.

These puppies are not “less valuable.” They are wonderful, loving, and capable dogs who will simply learn to communicate in a different way – and they will enrich the lives of those fortunate enough to share their journey.

If this message speaks to you, or if you know someone who could be this special family, please get in touch 🤍

On November 7th, our wonderful Mama Zelda delivered twelve healthy puppies—without complications or the need for any medical intervention. All twelve little ones are thriving, have already developed their spots, and are beginning to explore their surroundings with curiosity and confidence. They’ve also started to play with one another in the most heart-melting ways.

We are currently awaiting the LUA test results and will keep you updated as soon as we have more information. Stay tuned for more adorable news and photos from the nursery!
